Mathys Tel Tottenham shirt pictured as loan signing imminent
Tottenham are ready to announce the loan signing of Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel after a picture of his shirt was leaked on social media.
It has been revealed that Ange Postecoglou spoke with the player “at length” to convince him into a move to North London [Julien Laurens], having originally turned down the move.
Now, it looks as though all that is left for the Lilywhites is to announce the 19-year-old as a Spurs player, with his picture of his shirt being posted online by the Lilywhite Rose [X].

It has been a rollercoaster of emotions for Spurs fans at the Hotspur Stadium, especially after Daniel Levy jetted out to Germany, only for Tel to pull out of a move to England.
Either way, Postecoglou has finally got his man just hours before the transfer deadline and supporters will be buzzing to see him a real jersey as Spurs add yet another attacker to their ranks.
He joins Kevin Danso in signing during the winter transfer window, which was far more needed as the Lilywhites’ defensive crisis only continues for the under-pressure manager.
Cristian Romero, Radu Dragusin, Destiny Udogie and Guglielmo Vicario all remain sidelined, which actually looks to be the best situation for Postecoglou in recent weeks, but they are still huge misses.
Tel has only started two Bundesliga matches for Bayern this season but there are no doubts over his abilities, having already made 83 first-team appearances for the German giants.
He is desperate for more game time, which shows what kind of player he is, and also why Postecoglou wants to work with him in the second half of the season.
Spurs fans need to keep their eyes peeled for an official announcement rather soon. Blink, and you might miss it, with just hours of the transfer window remaining.
