Jack Grealish transfer: Tottenham kit ready as Postecoglou point made
Jack Grealish would not fit the Tottenham system under Ange Postecoglou, Max Rushden says.
The talkSPORT presenter feels the Manchester City star isn’t suited to the Australian’s style of play at the North London club, but would love him in the Spurs kit.
It would be nostalgic if Spurs were able to acquire the 29-year-old in the January transfer window.
Speaking on talkSPORT (1 January, 11:15), Rushden said: “Grealish to Tottenham, it feels like 90s Spurs.
“He’s a beautifully talented player, but if we’re talking about idealogues, I don’t think he fits Ange’s system, but I’d still love him to be in a Tottenham kit.”

A move for Grealish would be massive for the Lilywhites, considering the quality the England international possesses.
While the forward has been unable to fulfil his potential at the Etihad Stadium, his flair on the pitch is unmatched.
The 29-year-old can create something from nothing, and the Spurs could certainly use someone of his quality in their ranks.
Tottenham seemingly have other priorities, though, having scored the second-most goals in the Premier League this season.
What the North Londoners lack is depth in their backline, as Postecoglou has had to rely on Radu Dragusin and Archie Gray in the last few games.
Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies are all out injured, and their fitness issues have become frustrating for the Lilywhites’ faithful.
With the form the Spurs find themselves in, the former Celtic head coach could soon find himself out of a job.
Daniel Levy would evidently be intrigued in getting Grealish due to his commercial potential, but whether that will be in January or the summer remains to be seen.
