Chukwueze offered to Tottenham in deadline-busting AC Milan deal

AC Milan have offered Tottenham the opportunity to sign forward Samuel Chukwueze, according to Calciomercato.

The Italian news outlet reported via its website (30 January) that the Serie A giants are eager to sanction a sale in the winter transfer window and have offered the Nigerian to sides across Europe.

Spurs representatives are already in advanced talks with AC Milan for English centre-back Fikayo Tomori [Gianluca Di Marzio] and could now move for another Rossoneri player in a double swoop.

Daniel Levy suffered a hammer blow when Mathys Tel informed the chairman of his desire to remain in Bayern Munich after an agreement was reached for the French forward [David Ornstein]. Now, he has only two days remaining to bolster the squad.

Tottenham may be forced to take Samuel Chukwueze offer

Ange Postecoglou has endured a rough time in the winter transfer market but has no time to cry over spilt milk.

The Lilywhites desperately need a fresh face to help the front line, with Dominic Solanke facing weeks on the sidelines.

After Randal Kolo Muani rejected a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and now Tel, it’s time for Levy and co to face the reality of the situation.

Spurs are 15th in the Premier League table in February and are closer to the relegation zone than they are to the European places.

At this moment, the white half of North London is not a desirable landing spot for the world’s hottest prospects, and the transfer strategy must be altered in the final days.

Although Chukwueze disappointed during his two-year stint in Italy, scoring only seven goals and four assists at the San Siro, he may be the best available option on the market.

Furthermore, the Nigerian will be eager to prove himself in a new side. He flourished during his time at Villarreal and, at 25, still has plenty to offer.
