Agbonlahor ‘all over Tottenham transfer’ as Jack Grealish out of Man City door

Tottenham could potentially be the perfect next destination for Jack Grealish after the Manchester City forward’s exit this summer transfer window.

Spurs are close to hiring Thomas Frank as their next head coach, and the Danish manager may be allowed to make quality signings after being appointed.

Pep Guardiola could let Grealish leave the Cityzens in the coming months, with the England international struggling for regular game time at the Etihad Stadium.

Grealish set to leave Man City as Gabby Agbonlahor approves Tottenham transfer

Gabby Agbonlahor would be all over Grealish making a move to Tottenham this summer.

Ally McCoist wants to see the Englishman flourish again and believes he’ll have a chance to do so at Spurs, considering the 29-year-old looks out the door at Man City.

Agbonlahor also approved of the forward’s transfer to the North London outfit, especially with a new manager on the way soon.

Speaking on talkSPORT (11 June, 6:59), McCoist said: “Yes, that’ll do for me. I just want to see Grealish playing, and I want to see a smile on his face. I want to see him getting back to taking people on, getting the freedom to go and play. I think he’s got a better chance of doing that at Spurs.”

Agbonlahor responded: “New manager as well.”

McCoist continued: “He has no chance of doing it at Man City, let’s be honest about it. He’s out the door.”

Agbonlahor added: “I’m all over it.”

With Tottenham hoping to turn the tide after winning Champions League qualification for next season, they may be the perfect destination for Grealish.

Tottenham will be enticing option for Grealish in summer transfer window

Spurs could be enticing for Grealish after they’ve just won their first trophy in 17 years, beating Manchester City in the Europa League final.

A move to London may be appealing to the Englishman as he looks to find his feet once again in the upcoming campaign.

Considering the potential price tag and wages that will be needed to spend on the 29-year-old, surely not a lot of teams will be able to afford him, with Tottenham likely the handful of clubs in a realistic race.

Son Heung-min could leave Spurs in the coming months, and they’ll evidently need a new talisman if the South Korea international leaves.

Grealish feels like the right signing for the North Londoners as they look to add more creativity to their attack.

Tottenham may have a chance of getting the 29-year-old on loan from Man City in a cut-price transfer if his situation isn’t resolved towards the end of the window.

Frank should ask Levy to make statement signings and build a team capable of competing on all fronts, and the English forward seemingly fits right into Spurs’ plans.
