Yves Bissouma’s Tottenham exit could be in announced in weeks after Sky Sports reveal

Tottenham could be set to lose Yves Bissouma.

Tottenham will already have one eye on the January transfer window, with hopes of bringing in reinforcements to aid Thomas Frank’s ambitions of achieving success in his first season.

Home form has been a struggle for Tottenham, who have won just one game on their own soil this season.

However, decisions will also have to be made over several players currently residing in North London, and given his contract situation, Bissouma is one of them.

Tottenham set to lose Yves Bissouma for free

Bissouma’s contract expires at the end of the season, as revealed by Sky Sports earlier this week.

The lack of clarity over his future has only been apologised for by the fact that he is yet to make an appearance this season as a result of an injury sustained.

Based on that, Spurs may be reluctant to enter talks over a new deal, but in just seven weeks’ time, Bissouma will be free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs from abroad.

AC Milan have shown an interest in Bissouma, with clubs from Turkey also mooted to have an interest in the former Brighton midfielder.

Spurs may also look to sell the 29-year-old to try and recoup some of the funds spent when he was brought to North London back in 2022.

Ben Davies also at risk of January exit

Ben Davies has also yet to make an appearance for Tottenham this season, having spent the last few years as a rotation option.

The Welsh international made 28 appearances in all competitions last campaign, with Ange Postecoglou utilising his versatility.

He is the only other Spurs player whose contract is up at the end of the campaign, and given his age, it is likely he wants to seek a new club in a bid to get more first-team football.

Davies turns 33 next year and is unlikely to want to sit around as a squad player under Frank.
