Tottenham’s January transfer priority revealed as Radu Dragusin’s future hangs in the balance

Tottenham are still undecided on whether to loan out Radu Dragusin in January.

Dragusin has fought his way back from injury after being sidelined for almost an entire year with an anterior cruciate ligament problem in his right knee.

Micky van de Ven has been a top performer for Spurs this season, along with the hothead Cristian Romero, and the pair look inseparable in Thomas Frank‘s backline.

It’s for that reason that Dragusin may leave on loan this window for game time, as more exits are expected at N17.

However, with players potentially leaving Tottenham this winter, the Lilywhites have identified their key area to target improvements for Frank.

Tottenham are prioritising forwards in January

Tottenham have been linked with multiple attackers already, with the likes of Sani Suleiman and Omar Marmoush both named targets.

Mathys Tel could also be on the move and may follow Brennan Johnson as the next big-money forward to leave Frank’s side in January.

In a time when Tottenham’s attack is misfiring, supporters will be hoping that new forwards will soon be through the door.

According to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge on Wednesday, Spurs are now prioritising attackers this month.

This may come following the news that Mohammed Kudus’ muscle injury is worse than first feared.

Spurs’ chances for Oscar Bobb increased as Borussia Dortmund deal stalls

Spurs were interested in Manchester City’s Savinho, who could have been seen as Johnson’s direct replacement, and even more importantly, cover for Kudus.

However, Pep Guardiola’s stance is that the Brazilian is not for sale, but Tottenham won’t stop there for assets from City.

While the Lilywhites may continue their pursuit of Savinho, Tottenham have also been credited with interest for Oscar Bobb.

Speculation of the Man City star moving to N17 has calmed in recent days following a proposed move to Borussia Dortmund.

However, suggestions are that Dortmund do not want to pay in excess of £60million for the Norwegian, as Spurs may look to pounce.
