Tottenham work hard for Randal Kolo Muani transfer in January update

Tottenham have Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani on their transfer wishlist, according to TEAMtalk.

The new outlet reports (27 December) that the Ligue 1 outfit are looking to offload the striker in January, and the France international wants to move to the Premier League.

Spurs are looking to add reinforcements in the number nine position for Ange Postecoglou in the upcoming transfer window, and the 26-year-old is on their radar.

But the centre-forward is keen on playing in the Champions League, and the North Londoners will have to “work hard” to convince him.

Tottenham can’t prioritise Randal Kolo Muani PSG transfer

The Lilywhites could strengthen several positions in the coming month, but defence should be the priority.

With Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Ben Davies sidelined, the Australian manager has had to rely on Radu Dragusin and Archie Gray as the centre-back pairing.

Spurs lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day in the Premier League, once again showcasing the defensive frailties of the North Londoners.

Tottenham also almost gave up their lead in the Carabao Cup game against Manchester United, and Liverpool compounded Postecoglou’s miseries.

The Lilywhites faithful need to cut the Australian some slack, though, considering the number of injuries he’s dealing with in the squad.

In the attack, despite Richarlison’s injury issues, it looks like Dominic Solanke is someone the 59-year-old head coach can rely upon.

Daniel Levy evidently needs to put his hands in his pockets in January, and the Spurs chairman has to find a solution for the centre-back issues.
