Tottenham transfer stance on Rodrigo Muniz emerges as contract talks to begin
Tottenham have begun to list targets ready for the summer transfer window, with a big rebuild needed.
Spurs’ future is currently unclear. Ange Postecoglou’s job remains at risk as Tottenham’s form in the Premier League continues to deteriorate.
However, this has not stopped the club from looking at potential targets in the summer.
Spurs have recently been linked with Jarrod Bowen ahead of the transfer window opening.
Now, the club have hit a potential setback in their pursuit of Rodrigo Muniz as the possibility of the Brazilian moving to North London is assessed.

Tottenham hit setback in Muniz transfer pursuit
One of the biggest issues surrounding Tottenham this season has been their inconsistency in attacking areas.
Despite netting an impressive 61 goals this season, the same amount as Arsenal, only Brennan Johnson has more than 10 Premier League goals.
This has led to Spurs being linked with potential reinforcements up top to help fix this growing issue.
Tottenham top Premier League scorers 2024/25 | Goals |
Brennan Johnson | 11 |
James Maddison | 9 |
Dejan Kulusevski | 7 |
Son Heung Min | 7 |
Dominic Solanke | 7 |
One name linked was Fulham’s Muniz, who has scored 11 goals in all competitions so far this season.
However, Tottenham have now hit a blow in their pursuit of the Brazilian.
According to GiveMeSport (April 22), Fulham are now set to start contract talks with Muniz in order to keep away potential suitors.
Both Spurs and Chelsea were seen as admirers of the forward, but it is now unlikely he will move to either club, especially as Fulham currently value him at £50million.

Impossible to predict Tottenham transfer targets before their Europa League campaign ends
As it stands, it is impossible to predict Tottenham’s summer before their Europa League campaign ends.
Champions League football could help attract some of the best players in the world to North London, with many of the failures of the current campaign forgotten.
However, if this does not happen, the club would likely struggle to attract major stars, especially if the Spurs finish as low as 17th.
The summer transfer window hangs in the balance and Postecoglou must ensure he brings home the club’s first trophy since 2008 if it is to be a success.
