Tottenham transfer round up: Wissa wants Frank reunion as fee now agreed
Tottenham are looking to get back on track in the transfer market.
Thomas Frank’s first pre-season fixture against Reading is just two days away, by which time he would have hoped to have the majority of the transfers finalised.
It wasn’t for a want of trying, as Spurs were set to sign Morgan Gibbs-White before Nottingham Forest reacted by blocking the transfer, claiming it was an illegal approach.
Nevertheless, Frank will be hoping to move past that hiccup promptly and to focus on other targets, as Tottenham News brings you the latest transfer updates from N17.

Mason closes in on Pochettino favourite at West Brom
United States international defender George Campbell is set to join Ryan Mason at West Brom this summer.
The 24-year-old will arrive from MLS side Montreal, for whom he has made 70 appearances over two seasons, scoring one goal.
Campbell was given his international debut by Mauricio Pochettino, who is said to be a fan of the centre-back and could include him in USA’s World Cup squad.
Mason is weeks away from starting competitive life away from Spurs.

Newcastle United want Wissa, but he is set on Tottenham
Yoane Wissa prefers a reunion with Frank over a proposed move to Newcastle United, who are now chasing the 28-year-old.
The Magpies have seemingly lost out to Liverpool in their pursuit of Hugo Ekitike and have turned their attention to the Democratic Republic of Congo forward.
However, Wissa is holding out for a move to Tottenham and hopes his former manager will convince Daniel Levy to bring him to Hotspur Way this summer.
The striker has one year left on his contract at Brentford, but could prove to be challenging to sign for the Lilywhites as the Bees are unwilling to let Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo leave in the same window.
Josh Keeley rejects new contract to join Luton Town
Josh Keeley is set to join Luton Town after Tottenham failed to tie the young goalkeeper down to a new deal.
Along with fellow Spurs academy graduate Jamie Donley, the 22-year-old impressed while on loan to Leyton Orient last season, helping the League One side reach the playoff finals.
Season | Appearances | Goals Conceded | Clean Sheets | Minutes Played |
2024/25 | 45 | 48 | 16 | 4,170′ |
The Republic of Ireland shotstopper also scored a last-gasp equaliser in the O’s game against Oldham, and has been praised by Pep Guardiola.
However, much to the annoyance of Spurs fans, the youngster is hours away from making the agreed switch to Luton, although Spurs have ensured to include a sell-on clause in the deal.
