Tottenham transfer round-up: Randal Kolo Muani wants out as last-gasp deal on cards

Tottenham could be active right until the close of play on transfer deadline day.

Spurs have so far brought in Conor Gallagher and Souza, while Brennan Johnson was a big-name departure earlier in the window.

Thomas Frank’s side continue to be linked with numerous names, though, ahead of the window closing at 7pm on Monday.

There could still be time for one or two more exits and arrivals on the final day of business, with Spurs clearly in need of more options in numerous positions.

Tottenham ready unexpected deadline day transfer amid ‘crisis’

If there is one area Tottenham could particularly do with an extra player right now, it’s in defence.

Pedro Porro, Kevin Danso, Micky Van de Ven and Ben Davies are all nursing injuries right now, while Cristian Romero went off at half-time against Manchester City.

Djed Spence is also now injured, which could see Tottenham make a deadline-day move for a new defender.

Spurs are said to be enduring a “crisis” right now, with Radu Dragusin being handed a rare start against City and Palhinha having to drop into the backline.

Radu Dragusin subject of new approach abroad, it could now impact Chelsea

On the subject of Dragusin, the centre-back has been linked with numerous clubs across Europe over the past few weeks.

Fiorentina are long-time admirers and have been eager to strike a deal with Tottenham for Dragusin’s signature.

And it appears Fiorentina have lodged a fresh approach for Dragusin, but the Romania international does not want to join the Serie A side.

That could see Fiorentina instead move for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi.

Randal Kolo Muani wants to leave Tottenham in final hours of transfer window

There has been a big question marking hanging over Randal Kolo Muani throughout the winter transfer window.

And a decision on the on-loan Paris Saint-Germain forward will be made one way or another on deadline day.

It has been reported that Juventus are sat waiting by the phone for a Kolo Muani update as they could yet make a last-gasp move.

Kolo Muani, for his part, is said to want to move to the side he previously spent time on loan with last year.

However, given Dominic Solanke picked up a knock in the draw against City, that exit will surely not be sanctioned.

Solanke, as highlighted by the Sofascore graphic above, was superb on Sunday and will be a big loss if he is facing another spell out.

Akliouche was surprisingly benched for just the second time this campaign for Monaco’s 4-0 win over Rennes on Saturday.

Tottenham hold a significant interest in Akliouche and this development may pave the way for Spurs to pounce in a last-gasp deal.

However, it is fair to say time is not on the Lilywhites’ side.
