Tottenham told instant Kolo Muani upgrade theirs for the taking in controversial transfer
Randal Kolo Muani could be ending his loan deal at Tottenham before the end of the window.
With Dominic Solanke returning from injury, the Frenchman’s minutes will be put into question as the Englishman builds his fitness.
Despite the rumours, the forward started on Wednesday night, with Kolo Muani getting on the scoresheet as Spurs beat Frankfurt.
Fenerbahce, who have been offered Kolo Muani, will certainly have been keeping a close eye on his performances.
Additionally, Juventus are eyeing a reunion with Kolo Muani this window as well.
If the player is to leave, Spurs cannot leave themselves short in attack, and an experienced Premier League option has been touted as an option to join the N17 outfit.
Raheem Sterling tipped for Tottenham move
Richarlison is expected to be out until early March, and if Kolo Muani is allowed to leave, then Mathys Tel and Solanke remain as the only senior centre-forward options.
The latter has only returned from injury, and relying on him to constantly start matches and play plenty of minutes is out of the question in the short term.
Spurs need to manage his minutes until he reaches peak fitness.
However, Jamie O’Hara has suggested that Raheem Sterling should be an option for Spurs this window.
Speaking on talkSPORT, following the Frankfurt match, he said: “I would have him at Tottenham. I would absolutely take Sterling at Tottenham.
“I think he’s a good player. He’s better than what we’ve got. I’d sign him on a contract to the end of the season if he was willing to do that.
“I don’t know what other offers he’s got in terms of, he might have a long-term contract in Saudi offering him loads of money.
“But if the candle is still lit and he wants to still be a Premier League football player I would give him an opportunity at Tottenham.”

A move for Sterling would no doubt be controversial. The winger has previously played for two of Spurs’ London rivals in Chelsea and Arsenal.
However, he would not cost Spurs a transfer fee, as he has recently mutually terminated his contract at Stamford Bridge.
His wages could cause an issue, however.
Is Sterling what Tottenham need?
If Kolo Muani is to leave Tottenham, Sterling would not exactly be a direct replacement for him.
The Frenchman is a tall and more physical forward, whereas the Englishman is much smaller, and prefers to wiggle through tight spaces with his dribbling.
While he is most known as being a tricky winger, the former Chelsea man does have experience of leading the line.
| Raheem Sterling at centre-forward | Total |
| Games played | 65 |
| Goals | 25 |
| Assists | 10 |
Sterling would be a versatile option, but as mentioned previously, his £325,000 per week wages would have to be dramatically lowered in order to make it an appealing move for Spurs.
