Tottenham to jet forward into UK within days as January signing agreed
Tottenham are set to fly Yang Min-hyuk to England ahead of Christmas in preparation for him to join the squad in January, according to Mike McGrath.
The North London club signed the 18-year-old from Gangwon in the summer although he has remained on loan with the Korean side for the first half of the season.
However, Telegraph journalist McGrath reported via his X account that Spurs are now looking to fly the forward over to England with his agreement with the club set to start in January.
Yang Min-hyuk set to link up with Tottenham
The youngster will be excited to link up with Ange Postecoglou and the first team at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after completing the season with Gangwon in Korea.
The 18-year-old had an impressive campaign scoring 12 goals and providing six assists as the side finished second in the table as well as being a mainstay in the starting line-up.
Although we don’t expect to see the striker coming straight into the starting line-up for Spurs, he has continued to show the form that made the club go for him and he will surely develop further being in the first-team environment at Spurs.
The youngster has already been tipped as a natural successor for Son Heung-min which is exciting for both the club and the player.
Therefore, if Spurs can find some consistency in their form, we could well see the promising young player get his first minutes in a Spurs shirt soon.
In other Tottenham news, after the loss against Bournemouth, Postecoglou may have another injury concern.
