Tottenham submit late enquiry for Champions League winner likened to Thierry Henry
Tottenham are making late moves in the transfer market to bolster their team with more quality.
Spurs recently completed a deal to sign Xavi Simons, which should give them more creative flair in forward areas.
However, Thomas Frank’s side want more after Simons and are lining up a move for another forward before the transfer deadline.
Indeed, they could land a player who has been compared to Thierry Henry before the window shuts.

Tottenham make enquiry for Randal Kolo Muani
Spurs reportedly entered talks to sign Kolo Muani earlier this window, with his PSG future in doubt.
The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Juventus, where he made a positive impact in Turin.
The Old Lady were linked with a move to sign the France international permanently, but it appears that is unlikely.
If talks remain off between Juve and Kolo Muani, as they are right now, then he can emerge as an option for several top clubs, according to Fabrizio Romano on 1 September.
The journalist exclusively revealed that Tottenham made an enquiry for him in the last 24 hours and could be one to watch on deadline day.

Why was Randal Kolo Muani compared to Thierry Henry?
While comparisons to an Arsenal player can be a bit unverving, when they are likened to Henry, there is reason to be excited.
Like Henry was, Kolo Muani is a France international and has scored nine goals in 31 appearances for his country.
Indeed, he bagged an assist in the Qatar World Cup final in 2022, only for his team to lose on penalties to Argentina.
Much like Kolo Muani, Henry started his career by impressing with his pace and trickery out wide before being repurposed as a centre-forward, according to the Bundesliga website in 2023.
- Kolo Muani made 13 goal contributions for Juventus
- He has 18 goal contributions for PSG
- Joined PSG for £76.4million
Moreover, both players are a similar height at six feet two and cut very comparable, rangy figures.
Kolo Muani also has a languid dribbling style and immense turn of speed that were hallmarks of Henry’s game – especially in his younger years.
Furthermore, he bears similar strength on the ball and a cheekiness to his play that leaves Bundesliga defenders both in his wake and cutting frustrated figures.
Given the high praise from his time in Germany, Tottenham supporters have every right to feel excited.
If they can land Kolo Muani before the deadline, then they will be equipped to challenge on all fronts this season.
