Tottenham respond to Callum Olusesi bid with millions now on table
Tottenham are cracking on with transfer business despite the noise surrounding Thomas Frank.
Spurs beat Frankfurt 2-0 away from home in the Champions League on Wednesday, which means the Lilywhites are now unbeaten in three following a run without a win in five.
Frank has been under pressure, and the result may have bought the Dane some more time after a disappointing draw against Burnley in the Premier League.
Johan Lange and Co. only have a couple of days left in the transfer window, and further exits are expected to be sanctioned.
One of them is teenage sensation Callum Olusesi, with plenty of clubs sniffing around.

Tottenham have a plan for Callum Olusesi after £6m bids
Olusesi is highly rated at Hotspur Way and has the potential to one day become a regular starter for the Lilywhites.
The 18-year-old is a regular starter for Tottenham‘s U21s side, and after making his professional debut last season, he seems ready for first-team action.
- Olusesi made his professional debut for Spurs against Hoffenheim in the Europa League last campaign
- He has played 27 times for the U21s in total, netting six times
- Olusesi represents England at U19s level
According to The Standard on Thursday, Olusesi is attracting interest from multiple clubs across Europe, with Hoffenheim and PSV both having bids in the region of £6million turned down for the youngster.
Italian outfit Torino have also been mentioned as a club the central midfielder could join, but on a loan deal with an option to buy.

The Lilywhites are keen on sending Olusesi out on loan for the remainder of the campaign, but do not want to lose the midfielder permanently.
A host of Championship clubs are reportedly interested in the starlet, but Spurs would only let him temporarily leave for a team who are the right fit.
What has Olusesi previously said about being a Spurs player?
Olusesi reportedly wants first-team minutes at senior level, and his performances in the youth ranks have rightly earned him plenty of interest.
The midfielder made his debut in Tottenham’s 3-2 win over Hoffenheim in January last year, and later commented on what it meant to him.
Olusesi said, as quoted by Tottenham‘s official website: “It felt amazing, a dream come true. I’ve been working for this for all these years; the opportunity came, and I’m just grateful for it.”
| Contract start date | April 2025 |
| Expiry date | April 2029 |
The Englishman is tied down to N17 until 2029 and has time on his hands to develop in the game.
Spurs’ stance on the young gem proves how much Olusesi is valued at Tottenham, as internal figures now need to identify the perfect loan destination for him to join, with just days of the winter market left.
