Tottenham ‘ready to seal Tyler Dibling transfer’ after bid tabled
Tottenham are set for a summer of change with plenty of players expected to join and leave the Lilywhites, as an update emerges on Tyler Dibling.
Daniel Levy is planning big changes behind the scenes at Tottenham this summer.
That includes changes among both the staff and playing squad, with Tottenham confirming the departures of several players on Saturday (31 May).
However, supporters will be more interested in incomings, as an update emerges on Dibling.

Tottenham want to negotiate Dibling transfer with Southampton
As reported by Football Insider (31 May), Southampton have set a £55million price tag on Dibling.
According to Pete O’Rourke, Tottenham are hopeful of agreeing a £40-45million deal with Southampton for their talented teenager, with Richarlison’s potential exit likely to be key.
Southampton | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Tyler Dibling | 43 | 4 | 3 |
With Southampton relegated to the Championship, they may not have a choice but to sell Dibling, whom Tottenham saw a £35million bid rejected in the winter transfer window.
The Lilywhites are not shy to play young players in the Premier League; the likes of Mikey Moore, Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall all featured regularly for Tottenham in the recently completed campaign.
The three young players featured in a combined 65 matches for Spurs last season in the Premier League.

Dibling to Spurs could be a massive gamble
Dibling moving to Spurs could be a gamble on both parts. This season was his breakout season for Southampton, and while that was in the Premier League, a big move could ruin his development.
After Southampton sacked Russell Martin in December, Dibling’s form declined. The 19-year-old needs the right style of play to thrive as well as a good environment.
The young winger has already left Southampton once. While he was 16, he made the move to Chelsea, but after six weeks and feeling like he was not settling, he moved back to Southampton.
Leaving Southampton at this point does seem questionable.
