Tottenham ready new transfer after Gibbs-White and Kudus amid £175m update
Tottenham’s summer transfer window has exploded into life in recent days.
The North London club announced the signing of Mohammed Kudus from West Ham on Thursday (July 10), after the two London rivals agreed on a £55million deal.
In addition, Morgan Gibbs-White is to undergo a medical at Tottenham, although that deal could now be delayed as Nottingham Forest consult their lawyers over what they believe to be an illegal approach [Rob Dorsett].
And the business is not expected to end there, with Daniel Levy keen to equip Thomas Frank with a squad capable of bringing more trophies to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham eyeing Adam Wharton move
Frank is hoping to lead a refresh of the Tottenham spine this summer.
Kudus’ arrival should add much-needed directness to the Spurs attack, with fans hoping that the winger will emulate Bryan Mbeumo’s impact under Frank at Brentford.
Gibbs-White should also add several qualities to the Dane’s midfield, should his move go through – the 25-year-old was all-action for Nottingham Forest, often driving the team forward before finding the final pass, or finishing the move himself.
And according to GB News (July 10), Spurs are now set to make a further move to strengthen Frank’s options.
Adam Wharton will be next on the hit-list for transfer chiefs at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the Lilywhites expected to launch a £60m bid for the 21-year-old.
Adam Wharton | Premier League (2024/25) (Per 90) |
Ball recoveries | 6.97 |
Progressive passes | 7.31 |
Key passes | 1.78 |
Crystal Palace’s valuation is set at £70m, but the North London club hope a deal can be concluded for a lower figure.
Frank has been handed a £175m war-chest to complete the three deals, according to the broadcaster.
Palace signed Wharton for around £18m from Blackburn Rovers in 2024, with the midfielder since establishing himself as an exciting prospect for the Eagles.
Wharton would be transformative at Spurs
Spurs are in need of a new option at the base of midfield.
Yves Bissouma was often Ange Postecoglou’s first choice last season, but the Mali international has allowed recurring mistakes to creep into his game.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr are viewed as options slightly further forward, while Archie Gray is just 19 and spent much of last season in defence.
Wharton would provide a higher-quality option for Frank, with the midfielder having showcased his ability to pull the strings from a deeper role for Palace.
Still young, but with Premier League experience, the Englishman possesses a press-resistant composure with an excellent eye for a pass.
