Tottenham reach ‘total agreement’ on Mathys Tel in late bombshell – Ornstein
Tottenham have reached a total agreement to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich, according to David Ornstein.
The Athletic journalist reported on 3 February that the 19-year-old is set to sign in North London on loan until the end of the season.
The Frenchman has completed a medical and is poised to sign his contract before being announced as a Spurs player.
This deadline day deal includes an option to buy for a fee in the region of £45.7million which would then feature a six-year contract in N17.

It is a deal which has taken over the Lilywhites’ deadline day but it finally appears that Ange Postecoglou is going to get his man before the window shuts.
Given that the young forward had already turned down a move to Spurs, this U-turn did come as a surprise, but Daniel Levy will be glad to have got it over the line in the end.
It will now be interesting to see how he fits into the set-up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, especially with all the injury concerns right now.
There is every chance that Tel comes straight in and represents an alternative to the absent Dominic Solanke and looks set to be direct competition for Richarlison in North London.
In other Tottenham news, a transfer bid has failed yet again in a Deadline Day blow as an agreement has been reached.
