Tottenham ‘offered Bayern Munich star’ with late transfer on cards
Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Bayern Munich star Mathys Tel, according to TBR Football.
The online outlet claims on 29 January that the France international, who signed for the Bavaria outfit for £25million in 2022, has been offered to the Lilywhites.
The report states that Spurs face competition for the 19-year-old from Premier League rivals Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.
It states that the Frenchman has fallen out of favour with Vincent Kompany and is available as clubs quickly approach the 3 February deadline.
Tottenham could secure major transfer coup
Ange Postecoglou is desperate to add a striker in the winter transfer window as his side sits 15th in the Premier League.
Star man Dominic Solanke has been ruled out for an extended period, so Spurs need to sign attacking reinforcements before the 3 February deadline.
While Tel has started just two Bundesliga matches this season, the former Rennes star remains one of the most promising talents in the game.

He notched seven goals and five assists in 30 league appearances last campaign as the Bavarians were beaten to the title by Xabi Alonso’s history-making Bayer Leverkusen side.
It would be a major coup if the Lilywhites could land Tel ahead of their Premier League rivals that have shown interest in the attacker.
It would also be a huge show of intent from Daniel Levy that he believes in Postecoglou to turn around the club’s dismal form which has seen them win just one of their last 11 league games.
