Tottenham make new Eberechi Eze approach as double transfer ready for Frank

Tottenham are understood to be stepping up their interest in Eberechi Eze.

Thomas Frank is in desperate need of attacking options after the departure of Son Heung-min and the brutal injury suffered by James Maddison.

Eze has long been linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but hope that Daniel Levy could pull off a move was rapidly fading.

However, it now seems that the Crystal Palace man could join Spurs, alongside Manchester City ace Savinho.

Eze move back on as Tottenham ready double transfer swoop

Talks have already began with the Citizens over the Brazilian winger, in a deal that could cost Tottenahm over £45million.

Eze is valued at over £60m by the FA Cup winners, but Spurs need top signings, especially after the recent blows that they have suffered, losing two of their most experienced players.

Lilywhites insider Paul O Keefe (12 August) claimed that they have now made contact over a deal for the Eagles star.

He states that talks have already taken place between the two clubs.

Eze and Savinho would be terrific additions for Tottenham

If Levy can pull off a double deal, it would be fantastic for the Europa League winners, as they prepare to head into the Champions League.

Savinho can play across the front line, but was heavily utilised on the right flank in his first season in English football.

He notched a solid return of three goals and 13 assists in 48 matches for Manchester City last season, and that could improve as the 21-year-old adapts to the Premier League even more.

Meanwhile, Eze is a proven quantity in the top-flight that can operate either as a number 10 or on the left, with devastating results for the opposition.

The 27-year-old notched 14 goals and 11 assists in 43 matches in all competitions and scored the winner in the FA Cup final, showing that he can do it when it matters.

It would be absolutely sensational if the Lilywhites could pull off a double deal but it remains to be seen whether Levy can get it done.
