Tottenham in talks over Deadline Day exit for Tyrese Hall, permanent move mooted

Tottenham have held talks with Millwall over a deadline day transfer for Tyrese Hall, according to Sky Sports.

The broadcasters reported via their live transfer blog on Monday (3 February, 10:39 am) that discussions revolve around a loan deal for the 19-year-old.

However, the inclusion of a buy option is also under consideration, with “all options” still on the table for the highly-rated midfielder.

Tyrese Hall frustrated with Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham

It would not be a surprise if Hall is immensely frustrated with his situation under Ange Postecoglou as his wait for a first-team opportunity continues.

The teenager was heavily involved in Tottenham’s pre-season preparations but is yet to make a single first-team appearance for the club.

This is despite the North London giants facing a major injury crisis in the squad and fielding several youth players to navigate through it in recent months.

Therefore, Hall could be open to the idea of leaving Tottenham in search of playing time elsewhere in the final hours of the winter transfer window.

With Millwall aiming to claw their way into the top half of the Championship table, the midfielder could get a significant amount of first-team experience under his belt at The Den.

However, it remains to be seen if he is sold on the idea of potentially leaving Tottenham permanently.

It is also unclear how much Spurs would want the buy option to be valued if they agree to include one in their agreement with Millwall in the first place.
