Tottenham in talks for Randal Kolo Muani, PSG demanding one clause is included though

Tottenham are making moves to sign PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani before the transfer deadline.

Spurs made an enquiry for Kolo Muani, with the France international one to watch on deadline day.

Now, a move for the 26-year-old may have accelerated due to the injury news surrounding Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke.

With Solanke set for an extended spell on the sidelines, the Lilywhites have stepped up their pursuit of the French forward.

PSG make Randal Kolo Muani demands to Tottenham

With Juventus far from reaching an agreement, Spurs are aiming to hijack their move for Kolo Muani.

The forward spent the second half of last season on loan with the Old Lady and made a positive impact in front of goal.

However, they have so far been unable to secure another deal for the 26-year-old, which is why the North London club are pouncing.

Tottenham made contact to explore the conditions of a deal for Kolo Muani after interest was revealed overnight, according to Fabrizio Romano on 1 September.

Now, the journalist reports that Spurs have been informed that he is available, and while there is serious interest, a move depends on the fee and the numbers, as PSG want an obligation to buy guaranteed.

How much could Spurs pay for Randal Kolo Muani?

PSG signed Kolo Muani for a seismic £76.4million from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, but the move has not worked out.

The 26-year-old has since made 54 appearances for the European champions, but has struggled in front of goal.

Indeed, he almost bagged as many goals in his short-term loan with Juventus as he has managed in his entire spell in the French capital.

With that in mind, Tottenham can surely agree a cut-price deal for Kolo Muani and should be aiming closer to the £50m figure.

Of course, with the deadline looming, the Lilywhites cannot afford to dally on the fine details.
