Tottenham gem to finalise shock exit in hours after contract talks breakdown
Tottenham have several top talents coming through the academy, but one is now set to depart permanently.
Loan moves have been touted for youngsters such as Mikey Moore, while others may remain with the Lilywhites in the hope of first-team action.
Spurs are strengthening their squad ahead of the new season, and more signings could follow Mohammed Kudus to North London.
Several players have been linked with exits as a result, including attacker Richarlison, but fans may be dismayed as one of their top young talents is now set to leave.

Josh Keeley in advanced talks to join Luton Town
Josh Keeley is a promising young goalkeeper who has caught the eye within the academy and out on loan, but his time at Spurs is now set to end.
The 22-year-old shone on loan at Leyton Orient in League One last season as they reached the play-off final at Wembley, where they were beaten by Charlton.

While many thought another loan move could have been on the cards before an eventual first-team breakthrough, it has now emerged that he will move to League One on a permanent deal.
As reported by Alasdair Gold via Football London (17 July), despite earlier talks to extend his contract, Keeley will join Luton Town with a fee agreed in principle, after Spurs and the goalkeeper failed to agree on fresh terms.
Spurs are reportedly set to include a sell-on clause in the deal, which is expected to be concluded in the next 24 hours with talks at an advanced stage.
Keeley sale may frustrate fans
Keeley’s sale will be frustrating for those who wanted to eventually see him in the first team, and many will hope that there is a buyback clause involved in the deal.
The Republic of Ireland international could have been the eventual number one if he continued on his current trajectory with more loans, and a new contract would have also protected his value.
There are long-term question marks over both Guglielmo Vicario and Antonín Kinský, and having Keeley on the books as an eventual successor to either would have been useful.
However, with two years remaining on his contract, Spurs could do little once contract talks broke down, and will now sell him for pure profit despite his outstanding loan campaign.
Keeley made 45 appearances for Leyton Orient last season, keeping 16 clean sheets, and he will now hope to impress in League One again with Luton.
