Tottenham fans told how many signings Frank will make before pre-season tour

Tottenham fans are keenly awaiting new additions this summer after a terrible 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

With Ange Postecoglou sacked and Thomas Frank through the door, there is an expectation that players will quickly be brought in.

Tottenham have already made two additions, with Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel becoming permanent signings at Spurs.

However, fresh faces are needed, as Frank looks to overhaul his squad ready for the new Premier League campaign, with the added pressure of Champions League football.

Frank to sign up to three players

Tottenham have been linked with a host of stars since Frank was brought into the London club.

Spurs have shown interest in Bryan Mbeumo as Frank looks to raid his former employers. On top of this, Tottenham have been linked with Xavi Simons, who has impressed at RB Leipzig.

However, no major moves have happened yet, which has got the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful nervous about when potential additions could arrive.

Now, according to Football London’s correspondent Alasdair Gold (22 June), Spurs are likely to make “two or three signings” before their first friendly.

He said: “The club moved pretty quickly when Postecoglou was appointed two years ago, so hopefully they spring into action soon.

“I’d expect two or three signings by that point, but that might depend on some outgoings as well to ensure there’s the space, more than anything. Technically, I think the first friendly though will be around July 19.”

Tottenham need new additions as soon as possible

Tottenham cannot waste any time when looking to make new additions this summer.

The earlier signings are brought into the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the more time they will have to adapt to the squad and Frank’s tactics.

Tottenham are set to announce more friendlies over the coming weeks

This is vital for the London club if they are to get their Premier League campaign off to a good start and quickly put last season’s dire domestic performances behind them.

Daniel Levy, therefore, has to approve new additions as soon as possible to ensure this becomes a reality.

If not, Spurs could be left behind in the first few matches of the upcoming campaign, which is simply unacceptable.
