Tottenham defender completes Leeds United trial, new transfer ‘good for all parties’
Tottenham have a positive relationship with Leeds United, and it may be about to continue.
Archie Gray made a £30million move to Spurs from the Whites back in 2024 and has since starred under Ange Postecoglou, before he was sacked.
Joe Rodon went the other way as part of that deal and has thrived under Daniel Farke in the Championship, as the LS11 outfit won promotion to the Premier League, thanks to Manor Solomon.
Both sides could be set to benefit again with a new transfer potentially on the cards.

Tottenham exit would benefit all parties
Spurs left-back Calum Logan has returned to Hotspur Way after completing a trial with Leeds United.
Lilywhite Rose responded to a post on X (1 July) to share the news, saying: “Went on trial at Leeds but back at Spurs now with 12 months left on contract.
“That move to Leeds would be a good one for all parties.”
Tottenham should let Logan leave
Logan is a versatile defender who joined from Ipswich’s youth ranks in 2023 and went full-time as a scholar in the summer of 2024.
He signed his first professional contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in January, but could now be set for a departure.
Stats (U18 Premier League) | Logan |
Matches | 28 |
Goals | 0 |
Assists | 2 |
Minutes played | 1,517 |
The left-back, who can also operate at centre-back, made 28 appearances in the U18 Premier League, notching two assists in 1,517 minutes in the competition, primarily from the left flank.
He went on trial with the Elland Road outfit but has now returned to the Lilywhites, but the Spurs insider makes it sound like a deal could be reached shortly.
It would be a shame to lose a promising youth talent, but if Thomas Frank cannot offer him a similar rise to the first team as the likes of Gray and Lucas Bergvall, he may want to seek it elsewhere.
It would be foolish for the North London club to deny him that opportunity, as an unhappy player at any level is a problem, and there is no guarantee that he makes it in N17.
The Europa League winners must do what is best for their young players, and in this case, it may well be an exit.
If he is not going to get anywhere near the senior side and has a chance to do so in Yorkshire, he would obviously want to take that opportunity.
