Tottenham dealt another transfer blow as ‘unbelievable’ forward set to join Premier League rivals
Daniel Levy hasn’t had things all his way this summer at Tottenham.
While Spurs have made some impressive signings, they’ve also missed out on key transfer targets such as Morgan Gibbs-White.
Levy could now look to strike a deal with Manchester City for Savinho to make up for the shortcomings.
However, it seems another Manchester City star, who was also linked with Tottenham, is headed elsewhere.

Jack Grealish set for medical ahead of Everton move
James Maddison’s recent injury has added even more incentive for Spurs to move for Jack Grealish and get a deal over the line.
The Lilywhites have lost two hugely important players of late, with the departure of club captain Son Heung-min also recently confirmed.
Striking a deal to bring Grealish to N17 would have been the perfect way to replace the creativity and guile that Spurs have lost, but the reality of their pursuit of the wideman has now become clear.
The England international is now widely understood to have agreed to join Everton on a season-long loan deal, and has a medical booked in on Monday (11 August) ahead of the move.
The saga surrounding Grealish’s future has rumbled on throughout the summer, but it now looks as though it could finally be settled within the next 24 hours.
Tottenham must target big-money move
Tottenham have also been linked with the likes of Rodrygo and Rafael Leao over the last few days, and it is now hugely important that they make a statement signing before the 1 September deadline.
They will be frustrated to have missed out on Grealish, and there is now a fresh sense of urgency to add proven quality to their attacking ranks, given the amount that they have lost in the blink of an eye.
It has been a largely positive summer for the Lilywhites so far, but if they fail to secure the replacements that they need, it could easily leave Frank with the feeling that the squad is underprepared to achieve the turnaround that is needed this term.
It goes without saying for a club of Spurs’ size that another bottom-half Premier League finish will simply not be tolerated.
