Tottenham closing in on Kolo Muani transfer hijack as loan fee and medical details revealed

Tottenham have reached an agreement to sign Randal Kolo Muani ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.

The Frenchman struck 10 goals for Juventus during a loan stint last season, and the Italian giants had been keen to take him back once again this term.

Spurs have made quick progress on Kolo Muani, and have forced their way into the picture for his signature in a matter of days.

Thomas Frank’s side have been pushing for further attacking additions in the final hours of the window, and they now appear to have got their man.

Kolo Muani travelling to London for Tottenham medical

Tottenham have moved quickly on Kolo Muani, after the 26-year-old saw talks collapse over a possible move to Juventus over the weekend.

Now, it is the Lilywhites who are set to become the beneficiaries and complete an impressive hijack in the market, with agreements now in place for the deal.

Kolo Muani is now en route to London for his medical ahead of completing his move to Tottenham, according to David Ornstein via X.

Personal terms have already been agreed, meaning that the medical is the only thing that remains before his move to join the North Londoners is officially confirmed.

Spurs to pay £4.3m Kolo Muani loan fee

Tottenham’s deal to sign Kolo Muani is a straight loan deal, but it will require the Lilywhites to pay a loan fee of £4.3million to PSG, according to journalist Loic Tanzi via X.

The forward is an impressive acquisition for Frank’s side, given that he has already produced consistently impressive numbers in all three of the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A.

Spurs have needed reinforcements in the final third after the departure on Son Heung-min and the injury to James Maddison, and it is no surprise to see a flurry of late action from them ahead of the deadline.

The lack of an obligation-to-buy in the deal for Kolo Muani should also be seen as a positive, as it ensures that they are not committed to a permanent signing if things do not work out as expected.

With everything now agreed, all that remains is for the medical to be conducted and Spurs to announce the deal ahead of the 7pm BST cut-off.

Daniel Levy has come in for criticism for the way that he conducts deals over the years, but on this occasion, he is due plenty of praise for the swift action that Tottenham have taken.
