Tottenham close to Kolo Muani personal terms as PSG insist on transfer clause

Tottenham are making significant moves to land Randal Kolo Muani from PSG before the transfer deadline.

Thomas Frank is expected to be without Dominic Solanke for a lengthy period after news that he may require surgery.

Spurs are striving to sign Kolo Muani and beat Juventus to the signature of the 26-year-old, who spent last season on loan with the Turin club.

Now, the North London club have almost agreed personal terms with the forward as PSG insist on one factor of the deal.

Tottenham close in on Randal Kolo Muani agreement

Spurs are in talks to sign Kolo Muani from PSG, with the France international seemingly allowed to leave the Ligue 1 outfit.

The 26-year-old joined the European champions for £76.4million from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023.

However, the forward has been linked with a move away from the French capital this summer, with Juventus and Newcastle United also credited with interest.

Now, Tottenham have almost agreed on personal terms with Kolo Muani, according to Fabrizio Romano on 1 September.

He exclusively reports that negotiations are ongoing with PSG on a deal, with Paris insisting on an obligation to buy.

Obligation to buy Randal Kolo Muani should appeal to Spurs

While Kolo Muani has not lived up to the hype in Paris, he has shown enough during his career to suggest he can still cut it.

Last season, the France international impressed for the Old Lady and was devastating in front of goal.

Furthermore, during his time with Frankfurt, the forward produced some mouth-watering numbers in the Bundesliga.

Of course, considering how much PSG signed him for, Tottenham must ensure that they negotiate a lower fee.

However, he has done enough in his career for Spurs to feel safe in including an obligation to buy.
