Thomas Frank ‘huge fan’ of Archie Gray as new Tottenham transfer update drops
Archie Gray had a baptism of fire last season when he joined Tottenham.
The midfielder is only 19 years old but was used 46 times by Ange Postecoglou last season.
Gray was also forced to play as a defender amid Spurs’ injury crisis in the 2024/25 campaign.
With Thomas Frank now at the helm, the former Leeds star could become an even more important player for Tottenham as he looks to continue his development.

Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur have uncertain Tottenham futures
Frank could be set to rid himself of many Tottenham players this summer after many stars underperformed last season.
After a 17th-place finish in the Premier League, an overhaul is needed if Spurs are to return to the top six.
Two players who have been linked away from Tottenham are Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur, with the two midfielders out of contract next summer.
Now, according to The Athletic (17 June), the uncertain future of the duo could allow Gray more playing time this season.
The report states that the futures of Bissouma and Bentancur are ones to “keep an eye on”.
With Frank being a “huge fan” of Gray, he could be set for a more regular role in the midfield.
The Dane had attempted to sign the 19-year-old at Brentford. However, it is unknown if he is ready to play as a regular number six in both the Premier League and Champions League.

Frank need reinforcements in midfield
No matter what happens this summer, Frank needs at least one new midfielder this summer.
While Gray has plenty of potential, he may not be able to regularly star for Spurs given his age.

Therefore, a new number six should be targeted, especially with Bissouma and Bentancur’s abilities declining rapidly.
Hopefully, Frank will be able to attract a new midfielder this summer and get the signing over the line before pre-season.
