Savinho to Tottenham: Transfer fee, salary and likely shirt number for Man City star
Tottenham could potentially transform their attack as they explore a transfer for Manchester City forward Savinho.
Spurs have set their sights on the Brazil international, who impressed Pep Guardiola during his debut season at the Etihad Stadium.
James McAtee is another Man City player the North London outfit have their eyes on as they look to give Thomas Frank a more competitive squad ahead of next season.
With Savinho’s prospective move to the Lilywhites on the cards, here’s everything you need to know about the deal.

Tottenham discuss £43.3m package for Savinho transfer
Tottenham have already held talks with Man City to sign Savinho for a package worth £43.3million.
It was shared on 11 August that while the Sky Blues aren’t looking to sell the 21-year-old, he’s open to a move to the North London outfit.
While an agreement hasn’t been reached, Spurs should be confident about signing the right-winger, who moved to the Etihad Stadium for £30.8m last summer from Girona.

Spurs could offer Savinho £80,000 a week
Savinho currently earns a modest £40,000 gross per week at Man City, as per Capology.
Considering that the likes of Richarlison and Dominic Solanke have a weekly salary of £90,000, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Brazilian winger earn a similar amount.
- Savinho lost his place under Guardiola towards the end of last season.
- The Brazilian forward still appeared 29 times for the Sky Blues in the Premier League.
- Omar Marmoush and Ryan Cherki have signed for the Cityzens recently.
Spurs’ summer signing Mohammed Kudus apparently earns £150,000 per week [Salaryleaks], and while the 21-year-old forward may feel he should be paid around the same after providing 10 assists in the Premier League last season, Daniel Levy is known to be a tough negotiator.
Even so, the advent of Savinho potentially doubling his salary at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium feels fair, although it will be interesting to see what the actual numbers are once an agreement is reached.
Savinho shirt number at Tottenham
Savinho currently wears the number 26 at the Etihad Stadium, having previously worn the number 16 for Girona.
The usual numbers that attackers usually want to wear, like nine, 10 and 11, are already taken by the likes of Richarlison, James Maddison and former Bayern Munich attacker Mathys Tel, respectively.
With 16 and 26 available at the North London outfit, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Man City forward keep his current shirt number if he moves to N17.
