Noah Okafor to Tottenham: Three-way operation underway in Deadline Day twist
Noah Okafor could join Tottenham from AC Milan before the transfer window closes on Monday, according to Eduardo Burgos.
The Spanish journalist reported via his personal X account (3 February) that the Switzerland international could move to Spurs to make way for Joao Felix at Milan.
Chelsea and Milan are hopeful of reaching an agreement over Felix’s transfer after the attacker gave the green light for a move, although the ‘three-way’ operation remains complicated.
Tottenham switch attention from Joao Felix to Noah Okafor
Tottenham entered the final day of the winter transfer window looking to sign a new centre-back and a forward, although it is unclear if they will succeed.
Spurs had an offer of £5million to take Axel Disasi on loan accepted by Chelsea, but have since dropped out of the race to sign the defender [The Telegraph, 3 February].
Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou is seemingly keen to strengthen his options in attack, with Dominic Solanke, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner and Wilson Odobert sidelined with injuries.
The North London giants expressed their interest in signing Felix from Chelsea, but the Blues do not want to let the attacker join a league rival, especially when there are other European clubs like Milan interested [The Telegraph].

That is perhaps why Okafor is emerging as an option for Postecoglou’s side with less than 12 hours remaining in the window.
Milan are keen to sign Felix from Chelsea, but would need to offload an attacking player to make space for the Portugal international.
Okafor, who saw a move to RB Leipzig collapse earlier in the window, is, therefore, a realistic option for Tottenham, although it remains to be seen if they will pursue a late deal for him.
In other Tottenham news, Spurs are in talks over an exit for this player with a permanent transfer mooted.
