‘Levy has no-brainer £10m transfer call at Tottenham’ as Kudus price emerges

Daniel Levy could potentially be close to sealing a deal for West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus at Tottenham.

Spurs made a bid to sign the Ghana international recently, but the Hammers rejected their £50million offer.

West Ham could accept £60m for Kudus transfer amid Tottenham interest

West Ham could accept £60m for Tottenham target Kudus this summer, according to The Guardian.

The news outlet reports (30 June) that the Hammers are open to the 24-year-old’s sale for the right price as they look to rebuild their squad without breaching Profitability and Sustainability Regulations (PSR).

It’s been claimed that the Ghanaian forward has been identified as a key target by Spurs, and the Irons are open to his move to the North London outfit despite enmity between the two clubs, as money is extremely tight at the London Stadium.

Having already made a £50m bid for Kudus, Levy has a no-brainer decision to spend £10m more at Tottenham and seal a deal for the attacker who’s also being monitored by the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United.

The North London outfit have an opportunity to exploit West Ham’s desperation for funds and get the former Ajax star for a bargain.

Spurs should seal Kudus transfer soon

Son Heung-min’s future at Spurs is uncertain this summer, with the South Korean international’s exit possible after the pre-season tour in Asia.

The Lilywhites struggled with several fitness issues throughout the squad last season, including up front.

Tottenham undoubtedly need to add more creativity and threat in their attack this summer after Dominic Solanke, Richarlison, and others underwhelmed.

Kudus feels like the right option for Spurs as they look to give Thomas Frank some fresh faces before the start of next season.

The ex-Brentford boss wanted Bryan Mbeumo at the North London outfit, but it looks like the Cameroon international has his heart set on Man United.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Ghanaian forward opt for a move to Tottenham this summer, given the prospect of Champions League football.

The 24-year-old endured a difficult season at the London Stadium, and a transfer to North London may be what’s needed to revive his career.

It will be interesting to see whether Levy and David Sullivan can come to an agreement over the forward’s sale soon.
