Kylian Mbappe says Tottenham are about to sign a ‘very complete’ player
Tottenham are enjoying a busy deadline day as they aim to add players to take their squad to the next level before the cut-off.
Thomas Frank’s side have already bolstered their ranks with seven new faces so far this summer, with Xavi Simons the most recent arrival over the weekend.
While incomings are the priority, Spurs could ship out the likes of Manor Solomon and Bryan Gil at the eleventh hour, as they attempt to cut ties with some of the fringe players at the club.
The Lilywhites are also on the verge of completing a crucial last-minute signing, and it is a deal that will bring plenty of excitement after comments from Kylian Mbappe.
Kylian Mbappe loves incoming Spurs man Kolo Muani
Randal Kolo Muani’s arrival at Tottenham is imminent, with the Frenchman undergoing a medical ahead of his switch from PSG.
Everything has been agreed between the player and the two clubs over a season-long loan deal, and all that remains is for the medical checks to be completed and the deal to be announced.
Spurs have been keen to secure another option in the final third after Simons’ signing, and they are now on the verge of completing that objective with Kolo Muani.
The 26-year-old’s imminent arrival will be a hugely exciting piece of business for the North Londoners, as he is a who has consistently performed at strong levels across Europe.
Kolo Muani has also been praised by Kylian Mbappe in the past, with the superstar hailing his impact during an international break back in 2023.
“He is a striker who offers different game options to our team,” Mbappe said, his comments relayed by Metro.
“He is very complete and has an impressive volume of play. We are happy with the game he played on Friday, and I hope he scores tomorrow. Tomorrow we will try to get him to score a goal.”
Kolo Muani is an upgrade for Tottenham
Tottenham have moved quickly to secure Kolo Muani after his return to Juventus broke down, and they be hoping that he can reward them with more threatening performances.

The striker was electric for the Old Lady during a loan spell last season, and he has previously recorded a Bundesliga season of 26 goal contributions back in 2022/23.
He hasn’t been at his best for large parts of his two-year stint at PSG, but Spurs can be in no doubt that they have secured a crucial upgrade on their attacking options.
Richarlison and Dominic Solanke are both capable players, but Kolo Muani is a much more well-rounded and dangerous player at the top of the pitch.
He has led the line well in several top European leagues, and the Lilywhites will mow be hoping that he can translate that form across to the Premier League.
