Koni De Winter ready to quit for Tottenham after £25m-plus developments
Tottenham Hotspur look set for another rebuild of their squad this summer.
The North London outfit have been embarrassing in the Premier League and have already exited both domestic cup competitions, with Ange Postecoglou under pressure.
Spurs could also head for a Europa League exit if they fail to overturn the 1-0 deficit against AZ Alkmaar in the round of 16 second leg.
Given their poor performances, the Lilywhites could undergo massive changes in the summer as Spurs need players to lead from the front when the chips are down.

Tottenham ready another centre-back signing
The North London club currently houses Christian Romero, Kevin Danso, Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin as centre-back options. Ben Davies and Archie Gray are also capable of deputising too.
Spurs signed Danso in January from RC Lens but they still need depth at the back, especially if someone is to depart. The Lilywhites will need to have an additional central defence option or they risk having wafer-thin squad depth in that position yet again.
Argentina defender Romero has been linked with an exit and his departure could open the doors for a new defender at N17. Postecoglou’s defensive setup has attracted criticism and they need a quality centre-back.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Tottenham are monitoring Genoa defender Koni De Winter. Spurs signed Dragusin from Genoa in January 2024 and could raid them yet again.
However, the Lilywhites are not alone in the chase as West Ham and Manchester United also remain keen on the Belgian. In Italy, Inter Milan are the most interested.
Genoa will be open to selling the centre-back and have set a price tag of £25.2 million for the 22-year-old, who is also ready to take the next chapter of his career and will choose the best project after spending two seasons there.

Spurs to offload flops in the summer
If Spurs are to go big in the summer transfer window, they will also look to offload deadwood and underperforming players to generate some cash and make space in the squad.
Richarlison has miserably failed to impress since his £60million move from Everton and an exit has been mooted for the Brazilian, with the North London side ready to cut their losses.
Yves Bissouma could also face a similar fate as he is not in Postecoglou’s regular plans. The Mali international has interest from other Premier League clubs as Spurs will look to transform their squad once again.
That could be under Postecoglou or another manager, only time will tell.
