Jack Grealish transfer state of play revealed amid Tottenham speculation

Tottenham are looking to reorganise their attacking options in the transfer window.

Spurs have already been heavily linked to Leroy Sane amid rumours that the German international will leave Bayern Munich this summer.

On top of this, Heung Min-Son could leave Tottenham after being a mainstay at the London club for 10 years.

A potential replacement for the South Korean international is Jack Grealish, who has been linked with a move to Spurs.

Fabrizio Romano reaffirms that Jack Grealish is ‘almost guaranteed’ to leave Manchester City

Jack Grealish has not had a good last few seasons in the Premier League

The England international is currently out of favour at Manchester City after failing to hit form.

The attacker only played 20 Premier League games this season, with only seven of these being starts.

This led to a combined two goal contributions in the top-flight, cementing his downfall at the Etihad.

As a result, Tottenham are looking to splash the cash to get Grealish this summer

Now, their hopes of handing the 29-year-old have greatly increased after the latest Fabrizio Romano update.

The journalist quoted a post which stated that Grealish was “almost guaranteed” to leave Manchester City this summer and said: “This remains the case between Jack Grealish and Man City.”

Spurs need to stay away from Grealish

Grealish’s performances this season were woeful, and the numbers prove he is no longer a top player in the Premier League.

If Tottenham want to upgrade their attacking options this summer, they must stay well away from the Man City winger.

It is unlikely that the England international will suddenly return to form after so many poor seasons, and for the money it would cost to bring him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it is simply not worth the risk.

Hopefully, Daniel Levy sees this and pursues other options this summer, ready for the Champions League.
