‘Jack Grealish to replace Son Heung-min in Tottenham transfer curveball’ – Sky Sports
Tottenham’s awful Premier League campaign could prove to be the catalyst for several major changes at the club ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Spurs finished this year with their lowest points total since 1976/77, and it could have huge ramifications throughout the club.
The future of Ange Postecoglou is up in the air, while club captain Son Heung-min could also be heading for the exit, with Daniel Levy prepared to listen to significant offers for the South Korean star.
Levy is also targeting a big-money transfer coup of his own this summer, with out-of-favour Manchester City star Jack Grealish being heavily linked with a move to N17.

Sky Sports believe Grealish could replace Son
Grealish became the Premier League’s maiden £100million player when he made the switch from Aston Villa to City back in 2021, and while Spurs surely won’t have to part with a fee anywhere close to that this time around, it won’t be a cheap deal either.
The Lilywhites would have to break their current transfer record if they were to bring the England international to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, if Tottenham were to receive the right offer for Son, then that sale could facilitate a move for Grealish all on its own.
The 32-year-old seemingly has no future in North London, despite having recently lifted the Europa League trophy, and Grealish could be a plausible replacement.
The proposed switch has been mooted by James Green on Sky Sports’ Transfer Show (4 June).
Green said: “Just to throw a curveball in there, with a left-hand side player potentially departing (Son), there’s a left-hand side player we were talking about just a second ago, Jack Grealish. Maybe that’s a nice fit.”

Son would leave big shoes for Grealish to fill
If Tottenham were to ultimately replace Son with Grealish, the former Villa man would have plenty of work to do if he were to fill the boots left by the outgoing star.
The Englishman is a fantastic player in his own right, but Son has a legacy at Spurs which few players can match.
He has pulled on the famous white shirt on over 450 occasions, and has made over 260 goal contributions over the course of his 10-year stay at the club.
The attacker has produced so many big moments for the Lilywhites over the years, and while he played a bit-part role in the latter stages of their Europa League campaign, there was arguably nobody more deserving of that success.
Now might be the right time for Son to move on to a new challenge, but Grealish would have to perform to an incredible level if he were to have a similar effect at the club.
