Fabrizio Romano: Tottenham agree 3-year contract extension as deal completed
Tottenham will want to tie their best talent down to new deals despite having a difficult campaign.
The Lilywhites have failed to show their class under Ange Postecoglou this season, sitting 14th in the Premier League with just nine games remaining.
Improvement will be required beyond the summer transfer window as new additions are likely to be made in North London.
With that being said, keeping hold of the brightest talents on Hotspur Way also has to be a priority, and that process looks set to begin in N17.

Tottenham reach contract extension agreement
There has been a general lack of contract failures in North London, with very few key players leaving on free transfers in recent years.
Compared to a side like Liverpool who could be set to lose Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold in one summer, that is a positive.
The Lilywhites look set to be proactive once again ahead of the summer window, this time with one of their brightest academy talents.
Fabrizio Romano reported on 2 April that Callum Olusesi has agreed to a new three-year contract as Spurs look set to complete a deal.
The agreement will make the 18-year-old one of the highest earners in the academy set up in North London, reflecting the hopes for him and his potential.
Tottenham secure Olusesi contract extension
The midfielder is one of the brightest talents emerging from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium right now, already catching the eye of Postecoglou.
The England under-18 international has been named in senior matchday squad on many occasions this campaign amid a whole host of injury concerns for the Australian head coach.
Olusesi has also made his first-team debut for the Lilywhites as he came on against Hoffenheim in the Europa League back in January.
Team | Appearances | Goals |
Tottenham first team | 1 | 0 |
Tottenham academy | 17 | 4 |
Tottenham under-18s | 48 | 14 |
It will be interesting to see if his minutes take a step up next season and if the former Celtic head coach shows faith in him on a regular basis.
The 59-year-old has already shown his willingness to trust young players with Archie Gray this season, and Olusesi could be set to follow in the ex-Leeds man’s footsteps.
