Brentford ready to accept £60m+ Mbuemo bid amid Tottenham transfer latest

Tottenham could have the chance to sign Bryan Mbeumo this summer, with Brentford willing to listen to offers.

Pressure has mounted on Ange Postecoglou this season after an underwhelming Premier League campaign, where his side sits two spots from the relegation zone.

However, a victory against Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League has breathed life into the North London Club, with Champions League football now on the cards.

With everything to look forward to in the coming months, Daniel Levy could make big moves in the upcoming transfer window, and Brentford’s forward has already caught his eye.

Tottenham are tracking Mbeumo

Mbeumo’s impressive 2024/25 campaign has not gone unnoticed by Brentford, who believe he has earned the chance to move to a bigger side if an offer meets his valuation.

According to Sky Sports (8 May), the Bees would be willing to depart with Mbeumo for over £60million.

The 25-year-old has two years left on his current contract which puts Brentford in a favourable position.

Tottenham, who are tracking Mbeumo closely, may need to fight for his signature as Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle are all interested.

Mbeumo is a must-signing this summer

The Cameroonian must be at the top of Tottenham’s summer list if the club hopes to compete for all trophies next season.

Mbeumo, known for his versatile and dynamic playing style, can play as a forward and right winger which will provide much needed depth for Spurs.

Additionally, his ability to drop deep, collect the ball and propel his team forward works perfectly for Postecoglou, who likes to threaten when in transition.

Furthermore, Mbeumo has played 18 more games than Richarlison this season and 2.469 extra minutes.

They say availability is the best ability, and adding a strong, technically capable forward to an injury-ridden Tottenham side would not be a bad investment at all.
