Bayern tell Tottenham what it will take to sign Palhinha amid transfer twist
Joao Palhinha has been linked with a quick move back to the Premier League, with Tottenham interested in the midfielder.
Palhinha was an excellent player in the English top flight for Fulham before he moved to the German giants last summer.
While the 30-year-old did play a part in Bayern’s Bundesliga title victory, the German side are now considering a quick departure.
Tottenham are reportedly considering a move for Palhinha as the transfer saga heats up.

Bayern want £21.69m for Palhinha
As Thomas Frank looks to upgrade his midfield, Palhinha has been identified as a potential signing.
Given the fact that Yves Bissouma looks likely to leave Tottenham, a new centre-midfielder is vital this summer.
Now, according to Bild (23 July), Bayern at set to demand £21.69m for Palhinha this summer.

This is despite the German outfit paying over double for the 30-year-old last year.
Bayern are keen to offload Palhinha to help fund attacking reinforcements, with Vincent Kompany’s side interested in Luis Diaz and Nick Woltemade.
However, a potential issue for Tottenham is that Palhinha would rather stay at the German side and assert himself.

Tottenham should move on to other midfield targets
While Palhinha would be an excellent purchase, Spurs simply do not have time to try and convince the midfielder to move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Given how important it is that a player in this position is brought in, Frank has to speed up the recruitment process.
This means that the North London club simply has to move on from Palhinha and look at other targets in the transfer window.
By doing this it could save Spurs plenty of time in the transfer window to look at potential other targets.
Hopefully, Frank has some players in mind that he could convince to join Spurs before the start of the new Premier League season.
