Arsenal favourites to beat Tottenham to blockbuster signing amid Sky Sports news
Arsenal have been tipped as favourites to beat Tottenham to the signing of Randal Kolo Muani in the January transfer window.
Sky Bet have given Arsenal odds of 4/1 to sign Muani during the transfer window while the Lilywhites are placed at 8/1.
It was reported by TEAMtalk (27 December) that Ange Postecoglou’s side were interested in the striker while Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claimed via X (25 December) that Muani is set for a move away from Paris Saint-Germain this month.

Postecoglou certainly needs some reinforcements in his squad in January as he looks to produce a stronger second half of the season and ease some of the pressure surrounding his job.
Therefore, the addition of the 26-year-old would be a positive for the Lilywhites to bring experience and provide more competition up front with a poorly performing front-line at times for Spurs.
The Gunners are certainly in need of another striker, perhaps even more so than Tottenham, so it’s not a surprise that they’re competing.
However, the Lilywhites will be gutted to miss out on this transfer to their rivals with the feeling that the two sides are, yet again, in very different places this term.
Postecoglou has a number of tasks this January and prioritising defensive reinforcements is probably the most crucial but the Lilywhites will be hoping that missing out on this target isn’t set to become a theme of the window.
