Antonin Kinsky’s deadline day fate revealed as West Ham hunt late deal for Tottenham goalkeeper

West Ham United did show interest in Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky last week as the winter transfer window now enters its final hours.

Guglielmo Vicario hasn’t been at his best for Spurs, but the Italian goalkeeper has been one of the most inconsistent players for them this season.

Kinsky has struggled for game time under Thomas Frank, and the Danish boss’ lack of faith in the 22-year-old is concerning.

The Czechia goalkeeper will be well within his rights to demand an exit from the North London outfit before the 2 February deadline, and a decision has now been made.

Tottenham snub Antonin Kinsky move to West Ham

Tottenham intend to keep Kinsky despite West Ham’s interest in January, according to Sky Sports.

The news outlet reports that the 22-year-old won’t be leaving the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming hours.

Elsewhere, The Sun have claimed that Frank wouldn’t want the headache of having to replace the Czechia shot-stopper if he were to leave.

The North London outfit are also only allowed to make three switches to their Champions League squad, and if Kinsky were to leave, that would mean using up one of those slots, which could leave the likes of Nonor Gallagher, Mathys Tel or Yves Bissouma disappointed.

Spurs fans want to see Vicario get benched, and they will certainly be pleased to see the young goalkeeper remain until the end of the season.

Kinsky put in some impressive performances for Tottenham last season and deserves more opportunities in the upcoming matches.

Antonin Kinsky set for Spurs redemption

Frank’s future at Tottenham remains uncertain as he continues to drop points in the Premier League.

While securing a point at home against Manchester City after going two goals down is encouraging, there have been several performances in recent weeks that haven’t been up to par with the standards needed.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see a new face in Spurs’ dugout sooner rather than later, which could potentially lead to more opportunities for Kinsky.

While Frank seems to have complete faith in Vicario, the next manager may not, giving the Czechia goalkeeper something to possibly look forward to.
