Brooklyn Earick was a notable spectator as Tottenham Hotspur finally secured their Premier League status on Sunday afternoon.

Thanks to Joao Palhinha’s first-half goal, Spurs were able to bring the 2025-26 season to an end, crucially as a top-flight club.

It has been a dismal season for the Lilywhites, who were dragged into a relegation battle following the spells of Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor.

Roberto De Zerbi would step in after the most recent international break and fulfil his duties by steering Spurs to safety in the final weeks.

Tottenham are now looking to rebuild, and a face from the past has resurfaced in Earick, following his failed attempt to purchase the club in 2025.

In October 2025, American tech entrepreneur and former DJ Earick was involved in a chase to purchase Tottenham.

With Daniel Levy stepping down as executive chairman in September, the talk surrounded whether the Lewis family holding ownership of the club were keen to stay involved.

Their commitment to the North London outfit would remain, though, with Joe Lewis valuing the club at £4.5billion, while their summer spending in 2025 nearly hit £200m.

Now, Earick is back at Tottenham.

Ahead of and after Sunday’s clash with Everton, the former interested buyer took to his Instagram, where he posted ‘COYS’.

After the match, he would post the Tottenham logo inside the stadium, saying: “Let’s all take a few days off.”

With this in mind, Earick has continued to be spotted around Spurs, with his recent appearance likely to get the ball rolling with the idea that he could be set to lodge another bid as the Lilywhites look to rebuild after a dismal campaign.

Would an ownership change benefit Tottenham?

Naturally, fingers will be pointed in all directions after such a season in North London.

As a result, fans and pundits alike will all be providing opinions on just what has to change at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

There are multiple viewpoints on a potential ownership change, with the idea of a complete reset benefiting the club as they look to the future, following a previous £1.2bn commitment to invest in the squad.

However, the point could stand that the Lilywhites are already in a strong position to be able to do that.

After a tumultuous period, Spurs look to have found the man they want to build around in De Zerbi, with the Italian outlining his vision following the win against Everton.

He himself is not a man to remain silent if things do not go his way, and he likely would not have made the move had there not been promises made.

ENIC and the Lewis family have stayed quiet, though, and if the time wasn’t right for Earick previously, this summer could be perfect after survival.

Tottenham do still have a strong squad, which has been decimated by injuries for 18 months. Now is the time for De Zerbi to begin moulding that, and it could be argued that too much change before the new season could completely disrupt any momentum gained over the summer.

Spurs have a big chance to get this reset right, and they must take that.
