View: Leeds United sent warning as Tottenham star Harry Kane chases long-standing Premier League record
Harry Kane is enjoying yet another phenomenal individual season at Tottenham, with the striking sensation currently on 28 goals for the current campaign.
It places him second in the scoring charts, with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland first on 36.
The latter has, of course, been playing in a much more successful team than the former, with a treble on the cards for Pep Guardiola’s men following their Premier League title.

Spurs meanwhile are struggling in eighth place, having dropped rapidly down the standings with just one win from their last seven matches.
One of the only positives in that time has been the constant joy that Kane has found in the final third, with the striker having now scored in 25 different matches this season, as per Opta Analyst.
If he finds the back of the net against Leeds United on Sunday (28 May), Kane would equal Andy Cole’s Premier League record of 26, although the latter needed 42 matches to achieve that feat, which he did in the 42-game 1993/94 season.
Moreover, if Tottenham do only manage to secure eighth place or below, it will represent the league’s lowest-ever finish by a club with a player who has scored over 25 goals.

It’s not a scenario that will please Kane, but it won’t stop him from trying to fire the ball into the back of the net at Elland Road.
Worryingly for the hosts, who are dangerously close to dropping down to the Championship, Kane is chasing another record, with the striker able to become the first player ever to score 30+ goals in two separate 38-game Premier League campaigns if he hits a brace against the Whites.
Leeds have been warned, and with a league-high 74 goals conceded this season, it would be foolish to rule out Kane scoring at least once against the West Yorkshire outfit.
In other Tottenham news, the North London outfit could solve their defensive issues by signing one standout Premier League centre-back this summer.
