Thomas Frank may have the next Harry Kane at Tottenham in teenage sensation who can’t stop scoring
Thomas Frank might have his answer for Tottenham’s striker issues in Mason Melia.
Tottenham are struggling in the striker department at the moment, given that Randal Kolo Muani is taking his time to settle in.
Richarlison has received criticism this season, as on top of that, Dominic Solanke is still out injured.
However, Tottenham are awaiting the permanent arrival of Melia, with the youngster set to walk into Hotspur Way on red-hot form.

Tottenham have the next Harry Kane in Mason Melia
Harry Kane is favoured to return to Tottenham over any other clubs, including Barcelona and Manchester United.
But 18-year-old Melia is continuing to show that Tottenham don’t need to spend any more money on strikers.
Tottenham signed Melia for £2m earlier this year, as the Irishman will officially become a Lilywhite in January 2026.
| Games (starts) | Goals | Assists | Big chances missed | Scoring frequency | Successful passes in own half per game | TOTW | Average rating |
| 35 (29) | 13 | 3 | 16 | 199 min | 1.9 | 5 | 7.03 |
Melia was 17 when Spurs reached an agreement with his current club, St. Patrick’s Athletic, to sign him.
But due to FIFA rules, he cannot be registered as a Spurs player until early next year.
Melia has scored a goal in almost every other game and records a pass completion in his own half of 80 per cent.
Footage on X is now circulating that showcases his sheer qualities.
Melia’s stats draw striking comparisons to what Kane was like during his early days at N17.

Melia draws similarities to a young Kane
The stats suggest that Melia can come deep into his own half and get his team on the front foot, like Kane now does expertly.
However, this wasn’t always the case for Kane. It took time for the striker to improve his link-up play, and Melia clearly needs to continue developing his tendency to drop deep.
The goals speak for themself, Melia is a deadly finisher, as the footage shows he can prove to be a clinical striker for Tottenham, just like Kane was.
Melia has interestingly missed more big chances than he’s scored, but the exciting part is how he still has so much time to develop.
Kane always got in the right places and, over time, refined his finishing ability. Melia can do the same once he arrives in January; Frank just needs to give him a chance.
