Sky Sports share major Son Heung-min update from Tottenham training ground
Tottenham are preparing to face Bodo/Glimt and will be hopeful of having Son Heung-min fit and firing.
The Lilywhites are preparing for a two-legged semi-final clash in the Europa League in the coming weeks and need to perform well.
Ange Postecoglou has come under serious pressure this season after a number of poor performances and a poor position in the Premier League.
If the Australian head coach is to turn things around on the European stage, he will be keen on getting the best out of captain Son in North London.

Son training update emerges at Tottenham
The South Korea international was absent from the second leg of the quarter-final clash against Eintracht Frankfurt through injury.
Bizarrely, the 32-year-old didn’t travel to Germany as he was left at home to recover from a lengthy injury concern at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Son hasn’t played a single minute since the first leg and now looks set to miss out against the Norwegian outfit after what happened down Hotspur Way.
Sky Sports reported live from the training ground on 30 April (11:44am), as the correspondent said: “There’s no Son from what we can see. It doesn’t mean he won’t feature. They may just be keeping him in cotton wool.”
This could prove to be a blow for Postecoglou, who may be without his skipper for the Lilywhites’ biggest game of the season.
| Stat | Son Heung-min |
| Appearances | 43 |
| Goals | 11 |
| Assists | 11 |
Although he hasn’t had the greatest season, there is no doubt that he has quality to offer, as he showed off in the win over AZ Alkmaar.
The 32-year-old picked up an assist while also completing the most dribbles on the pitch with four while also winning six duels [FotMob].
In doing so, Son also kept up an 80 per cent passing accuracy while getting five shots off and generally causing problems for the Dutch outfit.
There is every chance that the forward could replicate that if he can get back to fitness, but that doesn’t look likely against Bodo/Glimt.

Postecoglou must cope without Son
There is no shortage of forward options in the squad in N17 that could cause problems in the semi-final across both legs.
The likes of Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel will be eying up the opportunity to take the place of the captain, ready for the European clash.
With that being said, Postecoglou would much rather have Son fit and firing, ready for the biggest games of the season in North London.
The former Celtic boss will have to adapt and find a way to get the best out of the Norway-based outfit, where Spurs are undoubtedly favourites.
