Ange Postecoglou must hook Tottenham ace Brennan Johnson at halftime v Sheffield United
Ange Postecoglou should hook Brennan Johnson at half-time against Sheffield United and hand Mikey Moore some minutes for Tottenham.
Spurs need to secure all three points at Bramall Lane on Sunday (19 May) if they are to guarantee a place in next season’s UEFA Europa League.
Despite the Blades making a strong start, Postecoglou’s side were able to get themselves in front when Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring in the 15th minute.
It could prove to be a very important goal with Chelsea leading 1-0 against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge, but Postecoglou will want more.
With the game finely poised, the Australian should hand Moore a chance to make an impact and bring him on for Johnson, with the Wales international having failed to deliver during the first half at Bramall Lane.
Mikey Moore should replace Brennan Johnson at halftime for Tottenham against Sheffield United
Moore became Tottenham’s youngest-ever player to appear in the Premier League this week.
The 16-year-old was introduced in stoppage time during the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday (14 May).
And after Johnson’s performance against Sheffield United, there is no reason why Moore shouldn’t be handed some more minutes in his place.
As per Sofascore, Johnson has only managed 13 touches and has completed just 63 per cent of his passes.
While the 22-year-old has played two key passes, he has only won one of his three ground duels while completing zero per cent of his long balls.

He has also failed to complete a dribble and given possession away five times, and Postecoglou would be wise to shake things up going forward if his side is to see out a much-needed win.
In other Tottenham news, the club have been urged to sign a forward who is the “perfect player” for Postecoglou.
