Mohammed Kudus was one of Tottenham’s marquee signings of the 2025-26 summer transfer window, arriving from West Ham in a £55million deal on a six-year contract. It represented a good piece of business for Spurs, who were facing competition from the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle United or his signature. Kudus was one of the bright notes under Thomas Frank before an untimely injury in January disrupted his progress. However, the expectation is that he will be back on the grass early in April, and will the Lilywhites absolutely mired in relegation trouble, his return for the run-in could be absolutely huge. The fear will be that Kudus suffers a recurrence of his injury if he is not managed properly, but with time running out to save themselves, he may have to be fast-tracked back to give Tottenham a much-needed attacking boost for the final weeks of the campaign. Let’s hope that his return could inspire a turnaround in form for a team that has looked completely devoid of ideas and confidence in his absence.
