Who is Daniel Levy?

Levy is the current chairman of Tottenham Hotspur and is the longest-serving chairman of any Premier League club.

He was appointed to the Tottenham board in December 2000. In addition to his role as Spurs chairman, the 62-year-old is also the managing director of the ENIC Group, a position he has held since 1995.

Levy’s greatest success in North London was delivering the state-of-the-art Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which was opened in 2019.

Levy can often be seen attending Tottenham matches. However, Spurs’ lack of silverware during his time in charge means the chairman is an unpopular man among the Tottenham faithful.

How much were Tottenham Hotspur bought for?

ENIC initially became involved with Tottenham Hotspur by purchasing a 2.9 per cent share in the club. In December 2000, ENIC became a majority shareholder after paying Spurs’ previous owner, Lord Sugar, £22million for 27 per cent of his 40 per cent share holding. At this point, ENIC owned 29.9 per cent of Tottenham Hotspur.

ENIC slowly increased their ownership to 54 per cent, before purchasing the remaining 12 per cent of Lord Sugar’s shares for £25million in 2007.

What is Daniel Levy and Joe Lewis’ net worth?

ENIC are far from the most popular owners in the Premier League, while Levy also isn’t exactly adored among the Tottenham support.

However, Spurs have grown commercially under the club’s current ownership, with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium built to hold multiple events which bring in plenty of revenue.

Lewis’ net worth is reportedly around $6.1billlion (£4.7billion). Meanwhile, Levy is thought to be worth around £500million.
