Tyrese Hall sends message as season-ending surgery confirmed

Tottenham youngster Tyrese Hall is pushing for a senior breakthrough at Hotspur Way this season.

Ange Postecoglou‘s side has suffered a major injury crisis this season that has put the Australian under severe pressure.

The former Celtic man could be sacked if his side fails to secure the Europa League trophy in May after a dismal domestic campaign.

The 59-year-old has not handed Hall a first-team debut yet despite putting his faith in several of Spurs’ young talents so far this season.

Hall reacts as season-ending blow confirmed away from Tottenham

Despite not making his senior bow, Hall is very highly-rated at Tottenham after his exploits in the Lilywhites’ youth ranks.

Another very talented English youngster is Omari Kellyman, who is a regular for London rivals Chelsea’s youth squads.

The Blues star took to Instagram on 25 March to confirm that he will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery.

The Spurs youth ace reacted to the post by commenting with two heart emojis.

Hall can be a future Tottenham star

While the likes of Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Mikey Moore have all featured prominently for Postecoglou’s side this season, and Damola Ajayi and Alfie Dorrington have been given senior minutes, Hall is still waiting for his chance.

The Australian needs to hand the 19-year-old an opportunity shortly, otherwise he may decide to move on to get regular first-team football.

A loan move failed to materialise in the winter transfer window, and Hall needs to be shown that there is a genuine pathway to the senior side if Spurs want to keep hold of him rather than losing a very talented prospect.

Given that the Lilywhites’ domestic campaign is a write-off, it could be the perfect time to hand more youngsters a chance, with the focus fully on the Europa League, and Hall could be the beneficiary if Postecoglou decides to put his trust in him.

He may have to wait until next season, otherwise, when the Australian might not be in charge, to be handed a chance to impress and forge a role among the first-team.
