Tottenham’s Harry Kane dream could become reality as world-record bid launched
Tottenham supporters have been dreaming about the return of Harry Kane, but that could soon become a reality.
The Lilywhites sold Kane to Bayern Munich for a fee in the region of £87million in 2023, where he has gone on to lift his desired trophy.
However, there have since been murmurings that Kane could soon return to the Premier League, with a Spurs homecoming mooted.
Now, the wheels have been set in motion for a headline move after recent developments in N17.

Tottenham can sign Harry Kane after record takeover developments
If he chooses to leave Bayern, then it is understood that Spurs have a priority option on Kane.
The England international has entered his third season with the Bavaria club, but reports suggest that he is hellbent on breaking the Premier League goalscoring record held by Alan Shearer.
Indeed, it appears that Kane will return to break that record sooner rather than later after the latest takeover news.
- Shearer: 260
- Kane: 213
- Wayne Rooney: 208
That is because a U.S. consortium is reportedly launching a bid to buy Tottenham, and it is said to be worth £4.5billion.
Furthermore, the most eye-catching detail of that potential takeover bid is that £1.2bn will be set aside for what is described as player budget, including wages, fees and agent payments.
This means that the Lilywhites would be able to spend more than the likes of Arsenal and Man City, but most importantly, could lure a club legend back home.

All signs point towards Harry Kane back at Spurs
Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham recently told Tottenham News that he would trade any Spurs player to have Kane back in N17.
However, the latest takeover revelations would mean that the North London club need not do so and can instead add to their already strong squad.
At 32 years of age, the striker’s value would have decreased from when the Lilywhites sold him, making him even more attainable.
Indeed, Kane’s release clause at Bayern Munich is set to decrease from £67 to £56m next summer, according to talkSPORT on 25 September.
Having lifted the Bundesliga title last season, his eyes will be fixed on achieving his ultimate goal, becoming the record Premier League goalscorer.
If he wants to achieve that, then he must move with haste, and with Tottenham poised to become a financial juggernaut, the money is there to make it possible.
The next few months are going to be critical to Spurs’ future and can pave the way for the return of the King.
