Tottenham ‘to receive eight-figure cash windfall’ as Manor Solomon seals move

Tottenham are poised to have a significant amount of money in their coffers after Leeds United earned promotion.

Leeds sealed automatic promotion to the Premier League after Sheffield United lost 2-1 against Burnley on Easter Monday (21 April).

The Whites had done their part earlier, thumping Stoke City 6-0 at Elland Road in a game that saw Spurs loanee Manor Solomon grab two assists.

Solomon later took to social media to express his delight at earning promotion with the West Yorkshire outfit with a “we are Premier League” message.

Solomon to join Leeds on permanent deal after promotion

Therefore, Solomon has sealed his move from the Championship to the Premier League with Leeds.

There are doubts whether he will be at Elland Road next season, as his loan deal from Tottenham runs out at the end of the current one.

However, there is no doubt that the Whites will want to try and make the attacker’s move permanent this summer.

The 25-year-old has played a key role in Leeds’ road to promotion, bagging nine goals and 11 assists in 37 league appearances.

Daniel Farke’s side are certain to strengthen their squad significantly ahead of their return to the Premier League, and it will not be a surprise if they buy Solomon from Tottenham in one of their first big transfers.

Should that be the case, Spurs are guaranteed to pocket an eight-figure fee for a player they signed for free two years ago.

Tottenham to demand £10million+ for Solomon

Spurs are in a strong position to demand at least £10m for Solomon on the back of his impressive season for Leeds.

With other clubs like Everton also interested in signing him, the fee could even go as high as £15m.

There is no reason why the Peacocks cannot afford such a sum, as they are on course to be crowned the Championship winners after having already sealed promotion.

Solomon does not look to have a future in North London, and it is best that Tottenham cash in on him this summer.

Furthermore, the attacker also looks keen to join Leeds on a permanent deal, going by his social media.
